The Etruscan’s itinerary consists of:

he
necropolis:

to give evidence to the importance that had, for the Etruscans, the after-life, we received many
necropolis well preserved; the most important are in Tarquinia, rich of tombs decorated and in
Cerveteri.
Many of them, scattered in all over the Etruria, dedicated to  the after-life: Norcia,
Castel d'Asso,
Musarna, Acquarossa (Viterbo), S. Giuliano (Barbarano), S. Giovenale (Blera),
and many other in Tuscania, Vulci, Blera, Bisenzio, Bolsena (Panaro mountain), Falerii Novi
(Civita Castellana) and the wonderful  Selva di Malano (Soriano).


T
he Etruscan’s towns:

many of the Dodecapoli’s towns of the " etruscan nation ",  became important towns. Barbarano,
Sutri, Vulci, Tarquinia, Veio, Caere, Musata, testify the urban etruscan culture.

The Etruscan’s roads:

it’s possible to meet, between wood and fields, the ancient etruscan’s roads.
The "tagliate" are bored ways near the steep walls, hidden by the green dense of the scrub.
The museums: in the halls of the museums, dedicated to the etruscans, is possible to admire
historic and artistic tresaures; the most important are
the Archeologicalor National Museum of
Tarquinia,
the National Museum Cerite of Cerveteri, the Archeological Museum of the Rocca
AIbornoz in Viterbo,  the National Museum
of the Castello of Abbadia in Vulci.


San Martino al Cimino

by noble people,
merchants, hide tresaures of art and  architecture. Between
the most important
reinforced residences, all around rose districts  still to-day intact, there
are  the wonderful castle of
Soriano nel Cimino (Orsini), and then Bassano Romano, (Odescalchi), Bolsena (Monaldeschi), Bomarzo
(Orsini), Civita Castellana (Borgia),
Capodimonte (Farnese) , Gradoli (Farnese), Montefiascone (Roc
ca
dei Papi)
, Monteromano
(Roccarespampani),  Nepi (Borgia), Oriolo Romano, Torre Alfina (Cohen),
Valentano (Farnese),
Vasanello (Orsini), Vignanello (Ruspoli), Viterbo (Albornoz) and Vulci (Abbadia).



One of the most  active Town, Civita Castellana seat of important and  valuable productions of ceramic.
The Borgia’s powerful fortress  represents one of the more remarkable exaples of military on horse
architecture of XV°-XVI° centuries, while between roads and
squares  you will be surprised seeing the
majestic and elegant Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral. Often, near the centres were built
sumptuoses
villas above all during the "500, committed by princes and Cardinals,  worked by artists and craftsmen,
like Vignola and
Sangallo. In the Bosco sacro di Bomarzo, well known like "Parco dei Mostri" there are
enormous sculptures executed in the vulcanic
rocks with strange and monstrous forms.



Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola is one of the most beautiful, noble and important residences of Italy.

 

Castles, quarries and shops:

The countries climb on the castelline have a hearth ancient and shops and pure people.

The medieval area of Viterbo is one of the most  faithful in Italy,  Vitorchiano, Barbarano, Bassano
in Teverina are surprising islands; Civita di Bagnoregio, Calcata
 and Celleno
relate about a story of
abandonment with historic and human value.
